“Worst Ramada Ever”

  , Covina
We normally trust the Ramada name, especially when traveling in an unfamiliar place. This Ramada however was the worst ever! It was filthy, there were even what looked like cigarette burns on the bedding. The elevator was scary, it did not seem safe at all and had graffiti all over the inside of it. Our flight was getting in very late so we were looking for a safe, clean, comfortable place for our family to stay near the airport. I could not believe that this was a Ramada. We were met by the man working the front desk like we were an inconvenience. The smell in the room was like a musty cologne meant to mask something else. My husband had an allergy attack thankfully that was brought under control or we would have been in the ER with two little kids in the middle of the night. If it hadn't been after midnight and we hadn't been completely exhausted from travel we would have looked for a different hotel to stay at which is really what we should have done given the fact that we were unable to sleep much anyway. We slept for a couple of hours in our travel clothes and were up and out of there as early as we could. Even if we had been able to sleep more comfortably we would not have been able to sleep longer because of loud clanking noises coming from the hallway that sounded like it was coming from maintenance people at the crack of dawn. Very disappointing, especially for a Ramada.
