“Overall we had a pleasant stay in room #336 at the Ramada...”

Overall we had a pleasant stay in room #336 at the Ramada San Diego Airport, 1403 Rosecrans St.. The room was quite small, however, I guess this can be expected in an older facility and the room pricing seems to take this into consideration (good value for the price). This room is on the 3rd. (top) floor. It has a large balcony on 2 sides that provides a close-up view of the marina and bay as well as Cornado Island/bridge and downtown off in the distance. You do hear some noise but the view makes up for a little morning traffic noise.The staff were extremely friendly and continuously left us with the impression that they just couldn't do enough to be helpful.If I was to suggest any improvements it would be to a) turn on the A/C unit first thing in morning, prior to guest arrival, to help freshen room stuffiness b) provide your housekeeping staff with a pleasant smelling cleaner/decontaminant to freshen the room odour (similar to that used in the elevator).An excellent, reasonably priced seafood restaurant (Mitch's Sea Food Restaurant) is only about 200 strides away, on the dock of the marina. There are also other restaurants(not tried after Mitch's), convienience and liquor stores in the immediate proximity of the Ramada.The facility is located in the Point Loma area os San Diego, which from our experience is a very quiet, safe neighourhood. Keep up the good work!!
