“Horrible service at night.”

We arrived at about 4 pm to check in and immediately left for an evening out. while there we made sure to keep the A/C turned on since it was quite warm upon our arrival to the room and the A/C requires a room key to remain on. We left a key in the room to keep the A/C on as we left. We returned at about 11:30 p.m. It was quite warm in our room. At about midnight I realized it wasn't getting any cooler so I called the front desk. The gentleman who answered advised me he would contact maintenance and that there were no other rooms available for the night that we could move to. After about an hour of waiting for maintenance I called the front desk again. This time nobody would answer. I let the phone ring for 10 minutes before hanging up and calling the hotel from my cell phone. This call was answered immediately. This time it was a woman at the front desk who didn't know anything about our problem. She also said maintenance would be notified but there was not a room we could move to. In the morning I walked down to the front desk to explain the situation once again. This time the assistant manager was very helpful. He came with me to the room to inspect the A/C and agreed that it wasn't functioning properly. He then promised me a new room for the night. At this time I was just frustrated with the situation and decided to contact whom I had booked through and cancel my second night. I was refunded for the second night, and booked another hotel through for that night and had a much more pleasant experience. I won't be staying here again!!!
