“So Much Potential.....”

Overall the stay was OK. The first sign that it was not going to be a perfect stay started at check in. It took forever to get checked in. I think I stood there waiting to be helped for at least 20-25 minutes. I cannot begin to count all of the time we wasted waiting for the elevators, it was inexcusable. The room was nice and clean. I am not sure if it is the walls or the door, but any all noises from the hallway were heard in our room, at all hours of the night. The loud heater in the room turned on and off every 55 seconds all night long, I know because it kept me awake a majority of the night. The restaurant staff for the most part could not have been any nicer. The three ladies at the front counter were great every time we were there. Some of the staff inside the restaurant could use some customer service training, but that did not detract from our dining experience. Many of the previous reviews that I had read prior to our trip stated that the pool area and water were cold. I think that they tried to rectify that while we were there, as the water was very warm, as was the air temperature. No complaints from me there. It was very busy, so getting a tube for the slides was a pain at times. We also had an issues with our room being cleaned after the first night. Housekeeping came early the first morning, we were getting ready to leave, so we asked them to come back in 10 minutes, she never did. There was a language barrier, the hotel staff needs to be able to speak English to be able to interact with the guests. Beings our room was not cleaned, we called down to the front desk for extra towels. We had to call three times to get them, and wait over two hours. Overall, this hotel has so much potential. It is in a good location, has all of the amenities that most families need, the staff just needs to be more attentive to the needs of the guests.
