“Terrible”

We arrived at the Ramada Inn around 9 AM after a red eye flight. Realizing check-in is not typically until 3 PM, we spoke with someone at the front desk in person several weeks in advance (when we stayed at the same hotel for another event) and called the day before our early arrival. Both times we were told early check-in should not be a problem. When we arrived, we were told the room would be available around 10 AM. We had some breakfast and returned, only to be told our room was still not ready. So we slept in our car in the parking lot for about an hour. Around 11, we check again, and the woman at the front desk said "I guess I'll give it to you now," and gave us keys to a room that had obviously been ready the entire time. Given how tired we were, we would have gladly PAID to check in early. Instead, we were given the run around and made to sleep in our vehicle despite the fact that the room was, in fact, vacant and clean. Aside from the poor customer service, this place is a dump. Our room faced the freeway and felt like a Motel 6 room. The breakfast is also terrible. The only plus side is that the location is close to Shoreline Amphitheatre, so it is a good place to stay if you want an easy cab ride.
