“Poor service”

The room was well sized and pretty clean and the maids did a great job with cleaning the rooms. My only complaint was with the customer service we received from the people working front desk. We arrived at the hotel at 1pm and saw a sign front desk with a sign that says "check in 3pm" and the lady behind it didn't make eye contact or even say hello. We simply left and went to lunch. We then came back around 3:30 and found that the rooms weren't ready yet. We didn't entirely care and just waited about 15 minutes until the room was ready. We checked in and saw that there was only 2 towels in the bathroom so we requested two more since there was 4 of us but those never came.We left for the evening and still didnt see towels so i called again and had to go down and pick them up. The man at the front desk seemed very bothered by me asking for extra towels. There was no simple hello or even a goodnight. it was if i was being a bother to them and it just completely made me feel uncomfortable. The second night we had to request towels again and the man just told me to ask maid service the next morning at 9am. I simply just walked away and dealt with maid service later on. So, all in all the people that were supposed to make us feel most welcomed treated us as if they didnt care for our business. The maids were great in cleaning the room and were very friendly when we came across them in the hallways. so, maybe those running the office should be cleaning the rooms and the maids should be running that place. if we do return, it will be because of the friendly maids and the great job they did of making us feel comfortable.
