“Somewhat disappointed”

I have stayed at this location before and it was great. In fact the same person was at the front desk last time. Although she didn't remember me as I remembered her, as she was checking me in, she informed me of a policy that I as a consumer didn't think was appropriate. She informed me that an additional deposit of $100 was needed because my debit card was a prepaid debit card. I'm not sure if this was a new policy but it was definitely wasn't enforced during my last stay. I was urge you as a company to take stake in your return customers and if they have a long history staying at your hotels, the deposit policy should be waived. It is an inconvenience for me as a consumer and I think it's pretty discriminatory. I didn't feel like that comes across as anything but careless and untrustworthy with the customers feelings.
