“Staff?”

Stayed in the Ramada in Flemington, NJ. and everything went pretty well until we came back from breakfast to get ready to check out. As I went to walk up the extremely narrow hallwayto drop off my room key and pay for my stay, I encountered a housekeepers cart that was overloaded with bottles of cleaning fluids and plastic bags hanging over the side. It had been left in the hall in such a way as to make it extremely difficult to get around without moving it. I called out for the housekeeper a number of times, no answer, so I attempted to move the cart and get around the cart. I somehow caught one of the bottles hanging from the side, knocked it off, it hit the floor and the top broke off sending cleaning fluid all over my pants and the carpet. At about the same time I noticed the housekeeper coming down the hall on the phone, she just kept talking. I found an old towel on her cart, tried to soak up the fluid, and then tried to say something to her, but she was still on the phone. I then proceeded to the lobby to tell the staff person at the desk what happened and check out.I am disappointed that he didn't offer to try and clean my pants or reduce my room cost to make up for the possible ruining of my pants from the unknown liquid.I have since cleaned my pants, and they are fine.I have remodeled hotels, and have yet to find a less interested staff.
