“Did not meet my expectations of a Ramada”

  , Tucson
I traveled with my husband and kids so we rented a suite with a separate bedroom. The room was clean and the housekeepers did a great job of keeping it clean throughout our stay (6 nights). It was nice to have the refrigerator, microwave and sink. The dining room table only had 2 chairs. The room decor was a little outdated, there was a funky smell, and the couch was uncomfortable and small (loveseat). The hotel was out of dish soap and laundry soap. The dish soap was available the next day, however we had to go out to a store and buy the laundry soap. They ran out of regular coffee packs (!!!!) for the coffee pot provided. They sent up another coffee pot which was broken (not discovered until the next morning when I went to make coffee, much to my dismay!). The shower temperature regulator was broken and all of the showers were very hot (too hot). The service was mostly great, with the exception of one person. The pool and Jacuzzi area was very nice and a great place to hang out, although the "pool towels" are super small (kid-sized) so we went out and bought our own. The location of the hotel is in a very nice area and close to Legoland, restaurants, shopping, and the beach. The Wi-Fi was okay for checking email although anything streaming (Netflix movies, videos) did not work (froze up constantly). The window did not close all of the way and therefore did not lock; it did have one of those sliding screw locks at the bottom to help compensate but those are not very secure. The bottom of the bathroom door and door frame was torn up, probably by a prior pet guest. The bathroom was very tight and difficult to get in and out of with the door placement. The breakfast was nice although the layout of the food room was inefficient and resulted in a lot of delays waiting to get things when more than a few people were in there (which was most of the time). It was more of a continental breakfast (toast, bagels, muffins, danishes, yogurt, granola, oatmeal, cereal, waffles, fruit, juice, coffee) than a "hot" breakfast as advertised.
