“old rooms and customer service is horrible”

The room was a pretty good.size for us with 2 queens and a separate room.with pull.out sofa bed. Here's a list of things that made me give this hotel a 2 star:- frame on sofa bed broke- had to put the 2 sofa pillows under the bade frame to act as legs and prevent the person from falling in.- leaky faucet in bathroom tub- very old and dirty shower head- yellow stains on toilet- broken lock on bathroom door- carpet is dark dirty- the bread toaster in their breakfast room is very old and has rusts on top- on our first morning breakfast, they ran out of waffle- they don't give out extra pillows, we folded blankets and used as pillows- Carlos, the "supervisor" is very rude. We were offered to be moved to another room, but we were so tired from driving 6 hrs. He did not show sympathy to out situation nor offer any compensation for our stay. He turned his back from me while complaining and said something bad about me to his coworker. At time of check in he made me wait for about 5 mins before he finally put down his cell phone and helped me. No warm greeting, no apology, no smile from him. The staff definetely lack good working etiquette and bad in customer service. I'm guessing this is a franchise hotel and maybe on budget that's why it is what it is. If it is owned by corporate it would have been updated all throughout. I'vw worked in a hotel hospitality industry for a good 7 years and definitely know the ins and outs of running a hotel. I will NEVER go back to this one nor refer it.to anyone. I give 2 stars for the comfortable beds..that's all.
