“Great staff!!”

The staff and the location of this hotel was pefect. The beds were comfortable but the walls were thin and though this can be expected in an older hotel, what wasn't expected was the "mold". We could smell it immediately and it was visible in the higher parts of the ceiling and the bathroom. Though the room had reasonable fresh paint, the mold was coming through and will continue to. By morning my sinuses were screaming, clearly mold is an issue in older hotels but due to the health issues related to mold, we would have been of the belief that special care be paid to the removal and prevention of it and unfortunately "painting over it" does not conceal or fix what lies below. If it were not for this, I think this hotel would be diamond in the rough as its location is brilliant and their staff were absolutely wonderful. Eat out for breakfast though, if you seek healthier food choices.
