“First time stay at a Ramada,”

First off I want to say that the pictures that are on the internet are nice and led a person to believe that the hotel is current in decor. I was not impressed to have been led to a room that was located in a dungeon (room 153) considering the hotel was not at full capacity. I was surprised that the girl that check us in had absolutely no idea where the room was located even when she escorted us to the location and she had taken multple wrong turns to get us there. How could someone educate a guest to appropriate routes if she is not informed herself. After the first night of hearing intermittent "powering up" noise of unknown edilogy, that when we asked for a relocated room we were not assisted with moving to the new location. I am not asking for a bellhop but I would think someone could have delivered a luggage cart to the room. I find it interesting that the desk attendent was not educated to awareness of routes to take for elevators in order to get to the dungeon room with a luggage cart. After lugging our property up a flight of stairs to a cart, we still had the game of "where is are new room" to be played. Noticing a housekeeper and asking for assistance to our new room, they tool, did not have knowledge to guide us to our room. I was not impressed by not being informed about the daily $15 hold on my credit card for incidentals and when I spoke to the desk attendent about this fee over the phone they were abrupt and rude, rather than assist with educating and apologizing for the lack of advance notice about this fee. I was not impressed with the quality of breakfast items for the price of the stay, I have stayed at other hotels with better quality fo food items. I was considerate and took care of my pet's waste but noticed that the area was litered with feces and am surprised that area was not monitored closer with either a security person in the area to indirectly encourage responsiblity. I also did not appreiciate the mis-informed maintance man entering our room shortly after speaking with the desk attendent in person. I understand it is not the maintance man error but poor communication from the desk attendent to him.
