“Worst”

We were put the in back of the hotel on the second floor which there is no elevators in this entire building (you have to walk your luggage up steps. We asked for another room and was told they had none, but I saw at least 7 rooms that were vacant on the first floor. The room was terrible -- old furniture with dust, towel were worn with holes, the bedding had stains, the water from the facet dripped when you tried to use the hot water. My husband ate some fruit cocktail and said it was awful --the fruit had no color and was old. There wasn't much variety for breakfast -- just a bunch of sugary donuts and food thrown together. Mary a staff employee said that some one workers just draw a paycheck, and don't do their job. I walked to the check-in counter and the man was on his cellphone texting and he didn't get off when i stood there -- I had to say something just to get a response. We asked for more towels to replace the old towels, and was told we had to come get them. Another socking moment. The hotel staff do very little. Where is the customer hospitality? How do you serve/assist? How do you go the extra mile? What makes this hotel stand out in the crowd? I traveled to the area for a funeral, and was left feeling I picked the worst hotel ever. The reviews listed are not true. There is a road construction so it's not convenient to get to the hotel. When I think of Ramada I thought quality, but this was not a quality place to stay. The convenient store is a joke. There was about 4 boxes of fozen food it the refrigerator and not much of anything else. I can't believe the corporate office would allow this hotel location to be this shabby. The reviews listed are not true. There was quite of few good reviews, but my experience was not the good review.
