“Old hotel in serious need of updating”

  , Saginaw
When I went into the lobby I could not tell how badly this hotel needed an update and remodel. The desk clerk was very friendly and she quickly processed me in and got my key. Service with a smile.Upon arriving to the entry door near my room I was surprised to see how old the building looked from another angle. There was a hand-written note that the pool was for paying guests only which made me wonder if locals occasionally enjoyed the heated indoor pool which was very large but dated to the 1970s.The rooms were large but the bathroom was barely large enough for me to enter. The door to the bathroom was so loose I thought it might fall off in my hand. The deco was aged but the heating worked well. The walls were thin and I could hear my neighbors like they were in my room. Other than the deco and the maitainance issues, the hotel was sufficient to the point it was not worthy of a complaint, however, I would not recommend this hotel other than the large heated pool.
