“One Night Stay at Ramada Limited - Limited Sleep”

  , Irvine
So.... Upon checking in for my one-night stay, I went to my assigned room to find the acrid stench of cigarettes so bad I had difficulty breathing. I went to get another room which stank "less" but had a half-inch of water on the bathroom floor from several active leaks in the toilet. My third room was livable, except for the noisy, drunk guests standing outside the adjacent room smoking periodically outside through the night. Then there were the motorcycles and their drivers drinking their 40 ounce beers in the parking lot while telling their stories of road adventures. This was absolutely the worst night of sleep I have ever had. It was a terrible experience and I will not return. Also beware of the surrounding neighborhoods. I thought I had experienced some scary ares, but this area is actually dangerous.I will say that the staff was as helpful as they could have been under the circumstances and the conditions of the rooms were not their fault. The staff is in a tough situation because of management shortfalls.
