“Outdated and uncomfortable”

  , Topeka
We arrived to the hotel late, about 5 am due to travel delays. I had called to inform them of this earlier that night. Upon arrival the woman who checked us in was very rude and had no interest in making us feel welcome. The hotel location looks sketchy but the lobby looks very nice. However, when you enter the rooms it's a whole different story. The electrical outlet covers were falling off the wall, the shower constantly changed from scalding hot to freezing without being touched. You can hear absolutely everything in the hallway and in the rooms next door. There was a large gap between door and door jam where light actually came through. There was one front desk worker who was very polite, he was helpful in calling us a cab. Overall, not somewhere I'd recommend or stay again.
