“I have stayed at Ramada several times in the past and have...”

I have stayed at Ramada several times in the past and have always been pleased with the outcome. This time I stayed purely on previous experience. The lobby was all redone and very nice. The room however, was terrible. The bathtub had this awful orange stain in the center that would not come out for anything. The room itself had this old vomit stench that would not go away. I figured it had something to do with the orange stain in the bathtub, specially since the smell was the worst in the bathroom. The pool was closed for "repairs" only there was not one person in there working any of the four days I stayed. As far as the fitness room I couldn't even locate it in the building. The blackout curtains were a joke. I woke up at 0205 in the morning in a panic thinking I'd over slept a great deal missing my flight because the lights were so bright outside my window and the curtains did nothing to black out any light. The TV that was in the room did not work correctly, it was a good thing I didn't spend much time in the room. The bed was something awful to sleep on but at least the linens were clean. I know it probably shouldn't matter and it didn't actually bother me but I found it to be a bit tacky the fact that 'Ramada Limited' was hand written on the edges of each towel to include the wash clothes and hand towels. I do visit Colorado often and fortunately will not be using this particular location again.
